Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Candidates should be born on or after October 1, 1999 (for general category) and October 1, 1994 (for SC, ST, and PwD candidates)
Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have qualified the JEE Main 2024 exam and be among the top 2.5 lakh candidates
Number of Attempts: Candidates can attempt JEE Advanced a maximum of two times in consecutive years

Exam Pattern

Paper 1: Multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and numerical answer type questions (NATs) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
Paper 2: Multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and numerical answer type questions (NATs) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
Duration: 3 hours for each paper
Language: English and Hindi

Syllabus

Physics: Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Electromagnetism, Optics, and Modern Physics
Chemistry: Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry
Mathematics: Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, and Coordinate Geometry

Application Process

Online Registration: Candidates need to register online on the JEE Advanced 2024 official website
Application Fee: ₹2,800 (₹1,400 for female candidates and ₹1,400 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates)
Document Upload: Candidates need to upload scanned copies of their documents, including their JEE Main 2024 admit card, class 10th and 12th mark sheets, and category certificate (if applicable)
